In this month of August, if you are interested in observing our night sky, you can’t miss the Perseids 2022. More commonly called “The Rain of shooting stars“, this period corresponds to the beginning of August and will have its peak of activity on August 12th and 13th 2022. Small negative point, the full moon will be present during the peak of activity, which will generate light and make these shooting stars less visible.
What are the Perseids?
The Perseids are actually a cloud of small debris from Comet Swift-Tuttle. These debris of rocks and ice are small and do not exceed the size of a small weight. The Perseid cloud does not represent any danger for our planet.
